Who Zach is

A Coach Who Trains Alongside You

Zach grew up in athletics, with his experience as a hockey goalie shaping how he thinks about strength, conditioning, and consistency. That carried into years of dedicated strength training and into Muay Thai and kickboxing, where technique and repetition matter more than intensity for its own sake.

He built Outlaw Training for people who want a real coach on the floor with them—not a printed workout or a room full of strangers. Every client gets a plan written for their body, their schedule, and their goals, and it gets adjusted as they get stronger.

His approach is direct and encouraging. Expect clear instruction, honest feedback, and someone who genuinely tracks whether the work is paying off.

Background

Where The Coaching Comes From

01

Hockey Goalie Background

Years as a hockey goalie built the foundation: reaction, positioning, conditioning, and the habit of training with a purpose behind every session.

02

Strength Training

Barbell, dumbbell, and machine work with attention to mechanics, positioning, and steady progression over time.

03

Muay Thai & Kickboxing

Striking and pad work that develops coordination, footwork, and real conditioning without needing to spar.

04

Hands-On Coaching

Zach coaches on the floor beside you—cueing, adjusting, and spotting so every set is done well.

Coaching philosophy

How Training Is Run

  • Training is built around your goals, experience, and current fitness level.
  • Form and safety come before adding weight.
  • Progress is tracked so adjustments are made for a reason, not a guess.
  • Sessions are coached in person, with real attention from start to finish.
